Yosef Golowa, MD FSIR
Yosef Golowa, MD FSIR, is double board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular/Interventional Radiology. He is a Harvard-trained Interventional Radiologist and has more than 15 years of experience with expertise in innovative, minimally invasive, image-guided therapies. Dr. Golowa worked as an Attending Physician at Montefiore Medical Center for over 12 years where he held the appointment of Associate Professor of Radiology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine. He has performed thousands of minimally invasive image-guided procedures and is a well-regarded mentor in instructing trainees and other physicians on the newest techniques. Dr. Golowa was enrolled as one of the co-investigators in the early clinical trials for Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) in the United States. He performed his first PAE procedure in 2013 in Sao Paulo, Brazil studying under the tutelage one of the pioneers in the field. Dr. Golowa is one of the most experienced Interventional Radiologists in the Tri-State Area in the PAE procedure with years of experience in treating hundreds of patients with excellent outcomes. He continues to be passionate about advancing effective treatments for men’s health. He believes in a team-based approach to provide patient-centered care with compassion and a personal touch.
